 Who's your webMaster?For starters, I'm the computer geek who created all this content and crafted the html code which presents it so nicely on your screen. I'm also the founder of Sunny Singles™, owner of the copyrights and trademarks and, the poor sap who pays all the bills and shoulders all the responsibilities. It's not so bad as all that. Least wise not on most days... I'm certainly rewarded with thanks, atta boys, and genuine praise from time to time for making Sunny Singles™ available to my community. Occasionally someone donates a few bucks to pay the bills too. Why? Why do all this work and make it freely available to thousands of singles? That's a good question and one which I'm not entirely sure I have a good answer to. As near as I can tell, I do this because there is a need and I believe I'm the best man for the job.  My goal for Sunny Singles™ is to provide a tool for "bringing single people together for positive social interaction." My website and the accompanying services have become a vehicle for single people to meet in person and have fun without the junk which comes along with dating. A place to meet friends rather than a cyber meat market. This non-dating atmosphere has proven to be our strongest attraction... After the FREE part of course.What else? What else does the webMaster do? Many things! In addition to hacking web code, I am an avid whitewater rafter/kayaker who has boated the length of the Grand Canyon 4 times and run rivers as far away as New Zealand. While traveling [19 countries] I learned to speak quite a lot of French and Spanish and became quite fluent in Danish. I fake a pretty decent Norwegian as well.  Other than typing code full of angle brackets and comments, my technical education includes the U.S. Navy Electrician School, Ranken Technical Institute, Jefferson College, ZD University, and endless hours of reading computer manuals. But it's not all technical... I'm a Certified Balloon Artist [Yes, Virginia. There really are certified balloon artists.] and award winning sculptor as well. My theater training was at a 2 year school for Comedia del Arte' and physical comedy in Copenhagen, Denmark during which time I supported myself by performing on the streets twisting balloon figures and juggling flaming torches [occasionally axes]. By the time I switched to performing on stages, my work included teaching design seminars around Europe and writing for event decor magazines in Germany and England. Yes. The manly webMaster was a famous European decorator at one point in his life.Today  There is much more to tell, like the time I was searched at machine gun point in the tropics, but what's really important is the present. These days I only raft when invited on a classic stream and the days of bicycle touring for a year at a time are long gone. I now develop & host small business web sites, carve wood, tend goats, and ride my Harley.Approval Do you like what I'm doing here and would like to help? I'm not good at accepting technical help because that requires revealing passwords and indirectly giving access to member information which I am pretty protective of. Financial aid is eagerly accepted! You're probably not surprised...  I accept donations of cash or check in person at Sunny Singles™ Gatherings and online via PayPal using the Support page.Other sought after support types include donated advertising space/time, advertising specialty items [t-shirts, key rings, etc], banner or text links from your website, discounts on your product/service for our members and/or group.
