Photo take from above Tri-Cities, WA.This ride started at the Grand Opening of the new motorcycle accessories store "Full Throttle" in Kennewick, WA. After browsing their excellent selection of leather and chrome, we headed to the top of the Wild Horse Heaven Hills. Our first stop, between 2 very green wheat fields, was for a quick look downward to the Tri-Cities. Yep! All three of them at once... Rattlesnake, Saddle, Candy, Red Mountains and other familiar landmarks formed the panorama.

In a very few miles our view had changed from the Tri-Cities to the Columbia River and Oregon far in the distance across fields of wheat. And there was wind too so the tumbleweeds were on the move! One very lucky tumbleweed hitched a ride on my leg for a half mile or so before I managed to kick the bigger part of it off. The rest clung to the underside of my bike until it was removed at the next stop.

Sunny Singles motorcycle enthusiasts at the Wild Horse Heaven Vista above Prosser, WA.We headed North to the very edge of the plateau and the Horse Heaven Vista, a Benton County Park with an amazing view! From here we could see all of the valley around Prosser as well as Mounts Ranier and Adams. A large sign here explains the Horse Heaven name and offers a condensed description of the irrigated agriculture below. Next we rode, practically coasted to tell the truth, to Bern's Tavern for their half pound hamburger lunch.

The early apricots were in bloom too! Our route was NOT the typical O.I.E [Old Inland Empire]. Finally Badger Road took us back to Kennewick, Starbucks, and the Full Throttle shop.
