For this reason, our membership forms are now asking your age and rejecting any age under 21. We still cater to the 'over 30 singles' but do not discrimate against anyone 21 and older. Our table is on the wall on the street side of the building. Parking is not plentiful but it is a very short walk from the parking lot at Lee and Jadwin. Directions are in our maps section. Gathering Virgins should look at the Got Face links on the home page for friendly faces to find at our Gatherings. Bowling Success! The bowling for singles Gathering was a big success. Well, it was a big success if you weren't keeping score ;) We had 9 bowlers [most donning Hawaiian shirts] and nearly twice that many strikes! LOL UPDATES The personal ad area of the website has been upgraded. Ad listings now show the username and title rather than just the title. Just for fun I added a maximum age of 99 for joining. All *married and looking* personal ads have been removed, married members deleted and, the *married and looking* option no longer exists. SIGNS Thanks to a member donation, we have 5 shiny new signs to help you find us at Gatherings. That should be plenty for our current Gathering hosts to keep their sign handy. Sunny Singles are taking swing dance lessons again! West Coast Swing lessons start on Wednesday at Kennewick Senior Center, 500 S. Auburn, Kennewick, WA. Classes for Beginning West Coast Swing run from 7 - 8 p.m.. The cost for Kennewick Residents is: $10 per single ~ for 4 weeks $16 per couple ~ for 4 weeks The cost for non-Kennewick Residents is: $15 per single ~ for 4 weeks $24 per couple ~ for 4 weeks Karaoke has been Kanceled. Please read this entire message... West Coast Swing Dance lessons will start again next month and are every Wednesday night. Cost is $15 per month. Butch is our host. Dance lessons in Texas Two Step, Cowboy Cha-Cha, and Sweetheart Schottsche are every Tuesday from 7:00 - 8:00 pm at the Coco Loco Tropical Restaurant in Kennewick through the end of February. Cost is $5 per lesson. Details will be sent out weekly. Kelly is our host. Loose Cannon Blues Band will be at the Rattlesnake Mountain Brewing Co. in Kennewick on Saturday, 7 February. Music starts at 9:00 p.m. [Host needed] "Jitterbug Swing" Dance Workshop given by Beth Trost is on Saturday, 28 February from 1:00 - 5:00 p.m.. Cost is $25 per person. [Host needed] Newbies. The way our gatherings work is; any member, especially you, may host a gathering. As our host, you must gather the details, plan the gathering, pass all information to the webMaster, and commit to be at the gathering to get the singles together. Parallel gatherings [multiple gatherings in different places at the same time] are allowed but discouraged. After all, our goal is to bring single people together. Being a host is worth the effort! I have been asked to plan Gatherings suitable for bringing children. Sorry but we are best described as *A singles social club working to bring singles, over the age of 30, together for fun socializing.* So if your son or daughter is over 30, I'm sure we have members who would be happy to meet them.
