Once again the weekend is approaching and another Sunny Singles Gathering has been planned at Duke's Pourhouse (2155 Steven's Dr., Richland, WA). The Howlers Blues Band will be playing so if you want to chat with us, be there at 8! A map is at http://www.sunnysingles.com/images/maps/dukes.jpg and "X" marks the spot. The Three Rivers Coffee House is on Friday evening and if I were able to go, I'd call a Gathering for that evening. Remember! Anyone can call a Gathering by giving me the details and promising to be there and to gather the troupes :) [That's a spelling joke, not a typo.] I have made BIG CHANGES to the Sunny Singles website! I've added lists of restaurants, bars, night clubs, and brew pubs in our area. Advertising is also new. I have posted advertising rates and restrictions on the site for anyone wanting to support SS with their advertising dollars... TELL YOUR FRIENDS! The more singles we have on SS the easier it will be to attract singles. It's the typical vicious circle but with your help, it can be broken. FREE services are news so, spread the news! Put a note on your local bulletin board. Email our link to someone. Add us to your Cool Links on Yahoo. Every little bit helps! More FREE stuff. Well, there is a string attached this time... There are just too many cool things happening this weekend! Sharon is calling a gathering at the Cool Desert Nights Street Dance - at 9:00 -12:00 Midnight. Featuring "The Kingsmen". The Cool Desert Nights Street Dance is on *Saturday* night at 9:00 -12:00 Midnight. Sharon says she will be hanging around the N.E. corner of the stage. That would be Stage Left / Audience Right. We have the potential for some great gatherings this summer. It's time to sign up for swing dance lessons. The class will be starting 10 July at the Richland Community Center and be held every Thursday through July at 7:30pm. We'll be learning jitterbug swing, night club 2 step, and the cha cha cha. The cost is $20 per person for the course and all students are invited to the FREE Saturday dance parties at the Pasco Red Lion to try out what they've learned. Sharon has asked us to gather with her on Saturday night at Duke's Pourhouse in Richland. "Shades" will be playing classic rock so wear your dancing shoes! Arrive at 8pm for food and conversation. Check it out. There are already 23 people signed up for the Swing Dance Lessons! Only a few are members of Sunny Singles so this is a great chance to meet new people. Partners are rotated during the classes so one might ask, "When was the last time you went dancing and were guaranteed a dance with every man or woman in the joint?"
